In a unexpected crossover event that challenges traditional predictions, the game developer has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Uncovered

According to the authorized statement, "A mysterious meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of banned rituals and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The plot introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine group.

The adventure focuses on "bizarre trials and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Transformations

The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the mission will obtain an unique katana together with several artifacts secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
